Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These terms and conditions govern the rental of any vehicle from Ramp Rent A Car (“Ramp”, “we”, “us”). By booking or renting a vehicle with us, you agree to the terms set out below. A full rental agreement is signed at the start of every hire.

1. Eligibility & documents

  • Drivers must meet the minimum age requirement and hold a valid driving licence accepted in the UAE.
  • A valid passport, visa (for residents/visitors as applicable) and Emirates ID or International Driving Permit may be required.
  • Any additional driver must be approved and named on the rental agreement before driving the vehicle.

2. Bookings & payment

  • Rates are quoted on an all-inclusive basis with no hidden charges. The agreed rate is confirmed at booking.
  • A security deposit may be required and is refunded after the vehicle is returned in acceptable condition.
  • Payment terms are set out in your rental agreement.

3. Insurance

All vehicles are covered by comprehensive, UAE-compliant insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance through Al Buhaira National Insurance. The renter is responsible for any excess, fines, tolls (Salik) or damage not covered by the policy, as detailed in the rental agreement.

4. Use of the vehicle

  • The vehicle must be used lawfully and only within the UAE unless prior written permission is given.
  • The vehicle may not be used for racing, off-road driving (unless permitted for that vehicle), sub-letting, or to carry passengers or goods for hire outside the agreed purpose.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

5. Fuel, tolls & fines

Unless otherwise agreed, the vehicle is supplied with a set fuel level and should be returned at the same level. Salik toll charges, traffic fines and any related administration fees incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter.

6. Delivery, collection & returns

We offer pick-up and drop-off across the UAE. Vehicles should be returned at the agreed time and location. Late returns may incur additional charges as set out in the rental agreement.

7. Breakdown & accidents

In the event of a breakdown or accident, contact us immediately on +971 58 531 2786. A police report is required for any accident in the UAE before repairs or insurance claims can proceed.

8. Liability

Ramp Rent A Car is not liable for any loss, delay or personal belongings left in the vehicle. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your rental, together with your signed rental agreement, applies to your hire.
